Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account data: email, password hash, sign-in provider.
• Profile data: name, age, photos, intro videos, zodiac, preferences, and identity details you choose to share.
• Verification data: photo and ID verification submissions you upload, plus their review status.
• Assessment data: personality, emotional-intelligence, and ideal-match answers and results used for matching.
• Activity data: matches, chat messages, date decisions, ratings, prep activity, and safety/moderation logs (including automated flags).
• Device & usage data: IP, device fingerprint, browser, approximate location, pages viewed.
• Payment data: handled by our payment processor; we store only the last four digits and billing metadata needed for receipts and fraud prevention.

We do not record your video dates. Live video and audio are streamed between participants and are not captured, stored, or reviewed by us. Text chat is stored so it can be delivered and, if reported, reviewed for safety.

1a. Automated moderation

Chat messages are screened automatically for safety risks such as harassment, solicitation, minors, and off-platform contact attempts. Automated checks can flag, hide, or limit content and, in serious cases, pause an account pending review. Photo and ID verification may also be approved automatically. You can contact support to have any automated decision reviewed by a person.

2. How we use it

To match you with compatible people, deliver the Service, keep it safe, prevent fraud and chargebacks, comply with the law, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Who we share it with

Other users see what you put on your profile. We share limited data with service providers (hosting, analytics, payments, moderation, translation) under contracts that restrict their use of it. We may disclose data when legally required or to investigate fraud, including chargeback disputes.

4. International transfers

Match24/7 is operated globally. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own under appropriate safeguards.

5. Retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. After deletion, we remove your profile within 30 days, but may retain limited records (transactions, fraud signals, moderation logs, banned-user identifiers) as long as needed for legal, safety, and anti-fraud purposes.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can export or delete from Account settings, or email privacy@match247.app.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and routine reviews. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

8. Children

Match24/7 is strictly for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Changes

Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
