If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. To report an active threat on the platform, email safety@match247.app with "URGENT" in the subject line — we monitor this inbox 24/7.
1. Zero tolerance
Match24/7 has zero tolerance for sexual misconduct of any kind. Violations result in immediate, permanent removal from the platform and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
2. What is prohibited
- Any sexual content, contact, or solicitation involving minors. This is reported to NCMEC and the relevant authorities without exception.
- Non-consensual sexual content, including unsolicited explicit images ("cyberflashing"), recording or screenshotting a partner without consent, and sharing intimate images of anyone without their explicit permission.
- Sexual coercion, threats, blackmail, or quid-pro-quo demands.
- Sexual harassment, including repeated sexual advances after someone has said no, demeaning sexual remarks, and graphic descriptions sent to someone who has not consented.
- Impersonation, catfishing, or use of AI-generated likenesses of real people without consent.
- Off-platform sexual assault, harassment, or stalking arising from a Match24/7 introduction.
- Soliciting commercial sex, trafficking, or any conduct that violates anti-trafficking laws.
3. Consent — the standard we use
Consent must be freely given, reversible, informed, enthusiastic, and specific. Silence, intoxication, prior consent, a swipe, a match, or a date is not consent to anything else. You can withdraw consent at any time, on or off the app.
4. How to report
- Tap the menu on any profile, message, or date and choose Report. Reports are confidential.
- For urgent or off-platform incidents, email safety@match247.app.
- You can also block the other person — this is independent of reporting and is one-tap from the same menu.
You do not need proof to report. We investigate every report and we never retaliate against good-faith reporters.
5. What happens after you report
- Within 1 hour: the reported account is auto-restricted for high-severity reports (assault, CSAM, threats) pending review.
- Within 24 hours: a human reviewer triages the report and contacts you if more information is needed.
- Outcome: warning, temporary suspension, permanent ban, or escalation to law enforcement. We will tell you the outcome unless legally restricted.
- Evidence: we preserve logs, messages, and media relevant to the report in line with our Privacy Policy, including for law-enforcement responses.
6. Consequences for violators
Confirmed sexual-misconduct violations result in:
- Permanent account removal and profile takedown.
- Indefinite blocks at the device, IP, email, phone, and payment-method level (the same enforcement we apply for fraud — see our Terms of Service).
- Cooperation with law enforcement, including preservation of evidence and lawful disclosure in response to valid legal process.
- Reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) for any content involving minors.
7. Meeting safely
- Meet in a public place for the first time.
- Tell a friend where you're going and use a buddy check-in.
- Arrange your own transportation.
- Stay sober enough to make decisions you're comfortable with.
- If something feels off, leave. You owe no one an explanation.
